We are ready for Spring in our office- the weather is getting warmer finally here in Memphis! Lots of creative ideas are flowing around and Karen is busy busy designing the new products that will be released in early May. We will not be attending the National Stationery Show however, we will be shipping our new products to all of our retailers as well as having them available online. Keep an eye out for new updates!!

We are proud to be Louie Award Finalists in two categories. As announced in their press release, the Greeting Card Association wrote,
WASHINGTON, DC – March 5, 2015 – The Greeting Card Association (GCA) today announced the finalists of its 27th Annual LOUIE Awards, which recognize the “best of the best” in the more than $7B greeting card and social expression industry.
“We are thrilled with the caliber of entries and delighted that so many new companies submitted their entries to this year’s LOUIE Awards,” said Tina Benavides, 27th Annual LOUIE Awards chair and vice president, Cards, Creative Division at American Greetings. “We offer our thanks to the 15 outstanding judges, representing companies from across the country, who dedicated their time and expertise to carefully evaluate each card for its originality, impact, design excellence, sendability and value,” she said.

More than 200 companies from throughout the world submitted nearly 1,100 entries in 58 categories, including “Rising Star,” which recognizes emerging excellence in companies that have been in operation for three years or less and recognize the diversity and appeal of greeting cards and the entire industry. In 1988, the GCA launched the International Greeting Card Awards – known as the “LOUIEs” and named for Louis Prang, the “Father of the American Christmas Card.” The LOUIE Awards recognize creative excellence in the greeting card and social stationery and expression industries. They celebrate the art, editorial, and design of greeting cards, invitations, and announcements and reinforce the relevance of exchanging greetings.

Karen Adams Designs attended the NY NOW Gift Show in the Javits Convention Center from August 16-20 at Booth #7445. It was the first time for the company to be at this particular show and was very successful!

We are so excited to announce that Karen Adams Designs won an award at the 26th Annual LOUIE Awards for the Holiday Boxed Note Card Set- Tis the Season.
We had a great time showing at the National Stationery Show and are excited to share that we will be back in New York in August for the NY NOW Gift Market.
